This overview provides the official list of War Victims of the six Antillean islands.
To be recognized as an Antillean War Victim, the person had to meet one of the three following criteria. These were drafted by a special committee, shortly after the end of the war:
- All persons who were born on Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, St. Eustatius or St. Martin and were killed, anywhere in the world.
- All persons of Netherlands nationality who died on one of the six islands, or on board of a ship registered on one of the islands.
- All persons of Netherlands nationality who died while being residents of one of the six islands, regardless of where they were born.
